Exciting news, we've added biomass carbon removal to Wren Trailblazer—the portfolio you support with your subscription—and increased your impact by 25% for free. Read on to find out more.
🍂 Underground biomass storage
When biomass like food scraps and sawdust decomposes, it releases greenhouse gases into our atmosphere. This project helps to break this cycle by collecting unwanted biomass, processing it into carbon blocks, and burying the blocks securely underground.
Updated portfolio allocations

We've increased your impact for free
Carbon removal is a critical lever in the fight against the climate crisis, but these solutions can be expensive to get off the ground. As Trailblazers like you invest in these initiatives, they can scale to bring down costs, and new players can find opportunities in the market.
We're thrilled to announce that with the addition of Underground biomass storage, we've reduced the cost of Wren Trailblazer from $500 to $400 USD per tonne of CO₂. Your subscription amount has stayed the same, so you're removing 25% more carbon for free.
You can find your increased offset percentage and make any adjustments to your subscription on your Wren settings page.
